Cardio Kickboxing / Bootcamp / Pilates Instructor

Nancy is certified personal trainer and fitness instructor. She has been in the fitness industry for over 20+ years, having managed, taught and trained at several gyms and studios. Nancy teaches Cardio Kickboxing, Cardio Bootcamp and Pilates to senior citizens, adults and kids. Nancy is very passionate about promoting health and fitness and actively encourages people to change their lives by living a healthy lifestyle and reaching their fitness goals. 

Johanna De Jesus

Zumba / Belly Dance Instructor

Johanna has been an ACE certified group fitness instructor since 2006. She has been teaching Zumba since 2009 and is part of the Zumba Instructor Network (ZIN). Fitness is an integral part of Johanna's life and when not teaching she's busy training for and competing at Spartan Races throughout the East Coast. She's also a champion belly dancer.

Double Dutch Instructor

Kyiasha was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Kyaisha has been coaching Double Dutch for over 10 yrs. She is currently The founder and coach of The Ms. K's Swagga Jumpers. Kyaisha, known as Ms. K is also the owner of Ms. K's Dance Academy, which has been around since 2010. Ms. K stands for healthy living, fitness, community, family, hard Work & success.

Shakera was born and raised in Brooklyn New York. Shakera is very passionate about fitness and has been conducting hula hoop workshops for children and adults for over 3 years.

Tanya is a Certified Health Counselor and State Certified Physical Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. She became a health counselor and trainer to fulfill her passion to improve the health and life of her community and others. Tanya leads workshops on nutrition, and offers physical training and nutrition counseling to parents and families. She is also a member of ZIN (Zumba Instructor Network).

Orvel Douglas

Nutritionist

Orvel is a Certified Nutrition and Diet Specialist. Mr. Douglas attended Highbury & Islington College in London, UK and received his Diploma with the International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC). Mr. Douglas strongly believes that the effects of most chronic diseases can be reversed with a proper diet and exercise.

Hip Hop Instructor

Skilled in various styles of dance, Ivy Rivera executes trendy, fun and intricate moves to get your mind and body moving. Professionalizing her craft since the age of 13, she has taken her talents of Hip Hop dance to teach to others. Born and raised in the heart of Brooklyn, Ivy believes it is an extreme honor to give back to her community by way of her passion.

A Harlem born enthusiast of the sport of fencing since the early 1990’s, Moses Sistrunk, Jr.’s dedication to the sport began at Our Children’s Foundation, Inc. (OCF) It was here where he met Coach Witold Rak who was the instructor at the time. Fast forwarding 11 years after they met, Mr. Sistrunk was assisting Coach Rak in spreading the sport of fencing to the inner city youth all over New York City. U.S.F.C.A. Certification Moniteur De Fleuret May 6th,  2012.

Colin Moe

Colin Moe

Track and Field Instructor

Colin’s passion for running began when he was in elementary school. In High School he qualified for the Texas High School State Track & Field meet and competed in the 110 meter high hurdles. He also trained with the Cross Country team, was a member of several relay teams, participated in the long jump event, and ran track in college.  His transition into running longer distances came when a friend ‘dared’ him to run a 5k competitively – which he completed in under 17 minutes. He now focuses on running 5k’s and longer distances, but still needs to satisfy his ‘need for speed’ on the track by doing speed-work, interval training, and hurdling.
