We need your help.
The programs we offer are made possible by public and private donations and our wonderful volunteers. We are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization, all donations are tax deductible and go directly to fund our programs.
Obesity is fast becoming our nation’s number one health concern and has been linked to many chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, hypertension and heart disease. In children, the effects are especially crippling, because of the impact it has on their emotional, social, and physical development. To address this issue we created the Children’s Sports & Fitness Expo. The Expo engages children in over 25 sports activities, nutrition clinics, and health screenings – free of charge. Through this event, families gain exposure to activities, programs and services that will help them become physically fit, thereby reducing the risk of obesity in their lives.
In addition to the Children’s Sports & Fitness Expo, we created the Six Weeks to Fitness Challenge. We believe that if you expose children to a variety of exercise activities, they will find one they enjoy and will continue as they get older. Activities like soccer, tennis, fencing, the martial arts, volleyball and much more.
The demand for our services continues to grow especially in the underserved low income communities where obesity and diabetes affect a majority of the population. We are not federally funded and the most of the support we receive is from people like you, who care about children and believe that they truly are our future.
Will you help us by making a donation to our cause? Any and all financial support is totally tax deductible and will go towards helping us provide exercise and nutrition workshops to families who need it most.
