Body Sculpt of New York, Inc.
It is with a very sad heart that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved Activities Director, Vergie Savage Branch. Her passing has left an unfillable void in our hearts and minds. Body Sculpt of New York and the world has lost a beautiful soul. Vergie has been with our organization for over 25 years and during that time, her tireless commitment, devotion and dedication not only to our cause, but to children and families all over New York City, will be sorely missed.
Words cannot express the impact Vergie had in my life as the President of the organization. Vergie did more than just coordinate all of the fitness and nutrition activities for the Children’s Sports & Fitness Expo and other programs; she was part of the nucleus of my organization. I leaned on her for advice and support throughout the many years of my organization’s existence. She was a truly loving and devoted friend. I could call on her any time of the day or night for advice and support. Her radiant smile and beautiful spirit has touched us in so many ways. To have known Vergie, is to have loved Vergie. In the many years that I have known her, she never raised her voice or said an unkind word about anyone. She was an angel on Earth.
